Personality: Heidi seems innocent and naive, and usually this assumption is accurate. She thinks of herself as weak and useless until becoming an Arcane Warrior, finding new meaning in battle with swords. As she began to grow more confident she also grew more intimidating, not afraid to threaten someone she wants information out of. She is also very flirty with her friends, and enjoys teasing them and playing pranks on them. 

Background: Heidi grew up in the Circle Tower in Ferelden. She was taken there from the Highever Alienage, but she scarcely remembers her parents or anything from the alienage. After years or training she eventually passed her Harrowing and became a full blown mage, only to be cast away from that life that very same day after she tried to help a fellow apprentice who turned out to be a blood mage. Grey Warden Duncan was quick to save her and brought her to Ostagar to become a Grey Warden herself where she met Alistair. After completing her Joining and becoming a Grey Warden herself she met Artemis whom would also become a Grey Warden. And then all the Grey Wardens died and Dragon Age Origins happens. 

Relationships:

Artemis: The two bicker quite often, but Artemis and Heidi are closer than they let on. Heidi loves Artemis dearly, despite her confusing feelings towards her other friends. After learning Dalish she took to calling Artemis da'assan, which means little arrow. Before that she called her Artie, and still does once in awhile. 

Alistair: Heidi's best friend and brother figure. They tend to cause mischief together and often loose all the money they are given when sent to go shopping. They tease each other relentlessly but back one another up when they really need it.

Morrigan: Morrigan is like a sister to Heidi. The elf often cuddles up with Morrigan at camp and the two read books together in silence or practice spells. They enjoy gossiping about the rest of their little circle together, and are both very protective of each other.

Cullen: Heidi's oldest friend. She often feels like a love sick child around him, but pushes the feelings aside since she had to deal with a demon. She still loves to sit with him by the fire and talk quietly, sometimes giving him a faint goodnight kiss. 

Zevran: Heidi's main squeeze. The closest label you could give them is boyfriend and girlfriend, but they're pretty open. That doesn't mean they don't get jealous, and always come back to each other. They are practically inseprable and very protective of one another. They love to tease their friends about their sex lives and have competitions to see who can make Artemis or Alistair the most flustered. After the Blight Zevran and Heidi struggle to keep their group together, only managing to keep in steady contact with Alistair and Artemis for awhile until they too disappear, leaving the two alone.

Leliana: Heidi and Leliana love to share stories with each other, but the two aren't particularly close. Heidi was very insistent on finding a nug for Leliana when they visited Orzammar, however.

Wynne: Like everyone else, Wynne is very much a mother figure for Heidi, but a little more so because they both came from the Circle. The two talk for hours and hours about mages and tales from the Circle. Heidi most often comes to Wynne for advice about being a mage, since Morrigan is usually of little help if it doesn't have to do with spells.

Sten: At first Heidi feared the tall Qunari, but after helping him find his beloved sword they became close friends. Their conversations are still limited, however, mostly just enjoying one another's company. Heidi likes to buy cookies for him whenever they happen across a bakery.

Oghren: Heidi and Oghren are very competitive, always trying to see who killed more Darkspawn. Despite this they are close friends, and Heidi is glad that he became a Grey Warden so they could share many more travels together.

Shale: Shale confused Heidi at first, but after getting to know each other they became good friends. Heidi always refers to herself as "it" around Shale in a teasing manner, though it doesn't seem to affect the Golem. Heidi has not been able to make her laugh (without harming herself) to this day.

Killer: Heidi's Mabari. She brought herbs back for him when he was sick at Ostagar, and after the destruction he found the group walking to Lothering. Heidi is small enough that she can literally ride him into battle. She often finds him sleeping with Morrigan or Sten and finds this quite endearing. 

Extras:
-During The Arl of Redcliffe, Heidi goes into the Fade to save Connor from the demon. She refuses to let Jowan use blood magic, and had to first get the help of the Circle magi. When in the Fade she encounters the demon, but is unable to defeat it. Before it is able to finish her off she strikes up a bargain with it; the demon will leave Connor's body and take up residence in herself. The only requirements were that the demon not fully take over until after the Blight and that none of her companions were allowed to know. The demon accepts this, making Heidi an abomination.
-Heidi adds a golden earring to her left ear after Zevran gives it to her as a sign of their love.
-After Artemis and Alistair disappear Heidi becomes extremely depressed, having lost nearly all of her friends. She leaves Oghren in charge of the Grey Wardens in Ferelden and goes to Antiva with Zevran as a bit of a vacation.
